Heard Museum

Since Jessica gets to stay home with mom EVERY Thursday, I decided to keep Caleb with me a couple of Fridays ago. It was a gray day but we decided to go to the Heard Museum in McKinney anyway. We had a great time. Caleb walked all the way around the Wood Duck Trail (which is about 2 miles!). Towards the end we both got a little tired and sat down on a bridge to rest. It was great to hear all of his amazing ideas with no one to interrupt. We both had a wonderful time.

Next on CSI!!!

All new CSI! Dismayed and surprised family discovers decapitated scuba diver "face-down" in freezer. Find out who could have done such a thing!

Well, if you must know how it ends...Caleb had become fascinated with making ice this summer. It was great when we were camping because we could throw the large chunks he made into the cooler. I'm not sure what put the idea in his head to place the bathtub toy scuba diver in this one.

As for who decapitated the poor guy, that would be Jessica. Around 18 months she got hold of him and bit his head off. I put it back on several times but she kept biting it off. I finally gave up and threw the head away. In hind thought, I should have throw the body away too.

Trip home

This weekend we went home for an exciting event. After 30 years of membership and service my father is Commodore of the Houston Yacht Club this year. This weekend was the Commodore's Ball to honor his term. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures because I left my battery charger at my BIL's house and have no juice for the camera. The ball was gorgeous. My mom did an amazing job ordering the flowers and picking the decorations and band. At my father's request, they decorated the tables with all the trophies the club owned/won over the years and surrounded them with red, white, and blue flowers. All the chairs had white covers with either red or blue tulle ties on them. We, and I think everyone there, had a wonderful time. It was formal event but had a nice relaxed atmosphere. My father gave a great speech and had all the woman tearing up when he spoke about my mother.

I love you daddy, you deserve it!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Grandad

Hot Wheels Arena

Caleb got a ton of Hot Wheels stuff from Santa and my uncle this Christmas. My entire living room becomes a Hot Wheels arena every few days. Caleb has gotten very creative with the tracks and is having a great time!
