Say Cheese

For Jessica's birthday she received a video camera. Here is one of her videos.

Happy Halloween

The kids went trick-or-treating in our new neighborhood. Not many kids were out so they mopped up on candy! Jessica was a gray & pink puppy and Caleb was a skeleton Our neighbor from our old house, Claire, came with us. We decorated the house with homemade decorations the kids made. It was a fun Halloween.

Caleb is a Cub Scout

Caleb joined Cub Scouts this year. He is very excited about it. The first badge they earn is the Bobcat Badge. He earned his with the rest of his Den at the end of Sept.

We had our first Cub Scout camping trip during Cubaree. It was at a huge Scout owned site. Marc and Caleb went for the weekend; Jessica and I joined them for the day on Sat.

2010 Sailing Camps

Caleb attended Ragnot sailing camp this summer! They started them out in the pool. They learned to tack and how to flip the boat back over. Caleb did so great!

Caleb missed the second session but is at the last session right now. Here are some picks of him tacking and rounding a mark. He caught on very quickly and seems to be doing awesome!

First Loose Tooth

Caleb lost his first tooth on 7/10. The pictures I took got corrupted. Luckily my friend Holly took this great shot!

He bit into a Lego, trying to seperate two of them, and suddenly the tooth was loose. Poor guy was really freaked out at first becuase of all the times I told him he would break his teeth if he kept using them on his Legos. He came into the living room shaking and crying that he had broken his tooth and now it was loose. Once I explained to him what was going on he calmed down but didn't like the way it felt. It came out after only 3 days!

Marc in the Dominican Republic. Nice hat!

Fishing at the Chickasaw National Recreation Area in OK.

Wildlife park in OK. I think he liked this train more than the animals.

Not sure if this is excited or upset. We are driving through the wildlife park in OK.

Snow Day!!

Yesterday it snowed all day! We have about 8 in of snow in our yard. The kids went out to play in it and had a blast. This is the third time it has snowed in as many months. Caleb and Jessica now think they live in a place where it snows!

Bike Parade

Yesterday Jessica's class had a bike parade and All American Lunch. All of the kids decorated their bikes/trikes and rode them in a parade through the school. It was so much fun to watch! I think they had fun too.

All American Lunch of hotdogs, chips, ice cream, and apple pie.

Caleb's recital

Over Christmas I fell behind posting this stuff. Sorry.

Here are pics from Caleb's recital on Dec 19th. He played in front of a group of 60+ people. He loved that everyone was watching him. The fact that he had to go first didn't scare him at all. He played Jingle Bells and Away In A Manger perfectly.
